Sisters and artists Moa and Mikaela Krestesen have worked together since 2008 under the name Sisters of Jam. With photography, drawing, video, installation and text as methods, they have worked on projects related to society, community, solitude, history and continuity.
The website is simple in its design with typography as the main visual element, which is intended to work as a temperamental contrast to the otherwise calm white space, but also as a reference to the typographical and linguistic aesthetics associated with progressive political movements; placards, slogans, resistance.
Distinctive typography set in Futura and irregular horizontal lines reflect the meeting between nature and design that Hikkis products are known for.
